LeRoy L. Peters was born and raised in Monroe, Michigan. He graduated from Monroe High School in 1970.  Good work ethics were established while working at Peters Bicycle and Lawn Mower Shop. Peters Bicycle and Lawn Mower Shop was established in 1962 by his parents,  James (Jay) and Janet Peters. They were located on LaSalle Road in Monroe, Michigan.

The shop closed up in 1974 when cars became more interesting for LeRoy and his two brothers, Noah and Jay.  LeRoy has worked at Time Container, the U.S. Post Office in Monroe, and has sold insurance for Met Life.  Currently he holds a Real Estate License, is a member of the Landlords Association, and is a Lifetime Member of the Optimist Club.

In 1997, LeRoy found the needed to go into business for himself, so he started LeRoy's Work Crew, now known as LeRoy's Work Crew, Inc.  LeRoy subcontracts crews who are specially trained and experienced in all areas of construction.  He holds a builders license in the state of Michigan, is a Preferred Contractor with Owens Corning, and holds a Certificate of Restoration Craftsmanship with Wolverine Siding Systems.  He has a proven track record of completing quality projects, and has passed stringent legal and credit checks. He has also met local requirements for licensing and insurance and has a clean portfolio with the Better Business Bureau. He is committed to submitting all warranty registrations to Owens Corning.
